CRAMBE maritima is a decorative and at the same time, edible specie. Nowadays protected, its a cousin from our cabbage's vegetable garden, with its subtle cauliflower's taste. It grows on the littoral (talus and scree) but we can grow it very well in pot as well as in the vegetable garden. The little spring flowers perfume with a smell of honey. Its surrated large leaves and bluish green leaves reach about 60 cm high and 1m width.

Salicorne europea is an annual marine plant which reseeds in autumn. Its foliage is composed of succulent branches in small tufts. During the flowering, in august and september, tiny white flower grow at the end of branches. This variety suits in salty sandy soils, which give a iodine taste to its edible foliage.
